INAgip terminal Pula - delivery of instrumentation and control system

SCAN has signed the contract with INAgip Ltd on the delivery of instrumentation and control&safety system of gas terminal Pula on the onshore gas pipeline from the north Adriatic platform Ivana-K to Pula.

Inagip is the joint-venture of INA and Italian company ENI Agip, established for the purpose of gas field Ivana exploitation in the north Adriatic. With the erection of the submarine gas pipeline from Ivana-K platform to Pula, Ivana and other gas fields will be directly connected to the Croatian onshore gas pipeline system operated by Plinacro.

SCAN being the most favorable tenderer has signed the contract on instrumentation and control&safety system of gas terminal Pula and block station Liznje Moro on the “turn key” basis.

The project will include the delivery and installation of two ABB combined BPCS/safety 800xA High Integrity systems, this being the first installation in Croatia.

The following activities are included in the contract's scope:

  • project management
  • instrumentation and control system detailed design
  • delivery of instrumentation, control and communications equipment
  • safety and control system application software configuration
  • on-site erection works
  • system testing and start-up
  • operator training
  • elaboration of As Built documents
