INA NAFTAPLIN - central supervisory system of all plants
SCAN has delivered to Nafatplin a central supervisory system (SCADA) enabling control f all production, transport and storage plants.

To enable the supervision of oil and gas production, a complex system for transferring data from all fluids input and output metering points at Naftaplin plants to the central SCADA database in Zagreb.
In order to transfer data to the central database and analyze this data, the appropriate SCADA system has been installed, together with necessary measurement, communications and IT equipment and software support. The core of the SCADA system has been installed in INA NAFTAPLIN headquarters, Zagreb, Subiceva 29.
From the number of locations data is directly transferred to the central SCADA system. On locations with local control systems installed, data is transferred via these control systems.
The communication with local control systems is carried out through the INA WAN infrastructure, using so called “tunneling” of data. During the installation of communication links a special attention has been made to the safety of data transfer and local control systems' communication networks.
From satellite locations that were not linked to any local control system, data is using GSM/GPRS technology.
